India previously had nine different centres in Canada for visa related help to people who wanted to come to India. Now considering the number of Indian citizens who go to Canada every year, India has decided to add three new visa centres in Canada to make immigration related services more accessible. You can book your appointment or directly walk in for any help related to your visa, passport and any other immigration related health. Canadian citizens who wish to travel to India can also access these service centres.
The population of Indo Canadians in Canada has increased massively over the years. A few years back it used to be 1,800,000 and now in the span of two or three years it has been increased to 2,400,000 Indo Canadians in the country. Visa services were normalised on 22nd November, 2023 in both Canada and India after a series of political rifts between the two countries. Now that everything's back to normal, Canada is expecting another wave of international students for the upcoming January intake.
