Most of the students these days want to study abroad and gain a high quality education. The reason for staying back for many students is budget. Indian universities for decades have been the same in terms of infrastructure and curriculum. Probably that is the reason why Indian students make up such a large market for foreign countries as international students. But now the UGC has been taking a lot of initiatives to solve this problem. Now students will be able to earn joint degrees in collaboration with foreign universities which means they will have two degrees for a single course. In Gujarat's smart City many international universities will open their campuses which will save the expense of moving out of the country and at the same time give a similar experience and name.
