As per the latest data collected by the office for national statistics, Indian skilled workers, students and medical practitioners dominate the US Visa list. Indians not only topped in the student visa category but also in the skilled workers and medical practitioner category as well. Skilled worker category saw a modest 9% increase from the previous year. On the other hand, the skilled worker health category saw a massive jump of 135% visas being issued as compared to last year.
More than 1,33,000 sponsored visas were granted to Indian citizens by the end of September, 2023. There has been a 5% increase in the number of sponsored visas issued to Indian citizens as compared to last year.
