Indian students make up for the largest international student community in England and Wales. According to the 2021 census for international students, around 43,000 international students from India are enrolled in higher education programmes in England and Wales
The Indian community is followed by the Chinese students that make up for 11.8% of the total international student population in these two regions of the UK. There are currently about 41,000 Chinese students enrolled in the higher educational programmes of England and Wales.
