The University Grants Commission has taken a landmark decision by allowing students to pursue two degrees at one time in physical mode. Students can avail of this option from session 2022 to 2023. Along with the decision guidelines regarding the same have also been announced. Students can opt for combinations like a diploma programme and a UG course, two master's degrees and two bachelor's degrees at a time. The student must ensure that the classes of the degrees don't crash. The decision was a consequence of NEP which emphasized opening multiple pathways for students and not restricting their careers to conventional paths.
