Due to the political tensions between India and Canada, no new visas are being issued between the two countries. International students from India who are currently studying in Canada are unable to go back to their homes in India. Due to this problem many students who had already booked tickets in advance are now left stranded as they do not have a visa.
As of now, no official statement has been released by either of the countries. As of now all the delegates of both the countries have gone back to their respective countries. International students from India who have been accepted by the universities of Canada are waiting for their visas to get accepted.
