The political tensions between India and Canada have worried students from India who want to study in Canada. But at the same time there is another problem that Indian students are already studying in Canada or facing. Most of the students are unable to find part-time jobs in Canada to support themselves financially during their studies. More than 5,50,000 students got Canadian study permits in 2022. There has been an overflow of international students in Canada and the jobs are limited. Also a lot of people come on work permits in Canada to work in unskilled departments. The competition to get unskilled jobs is pretty high. Students in universities generally look for unskilled jobs that have become quite less with the time. Most of the students studying in Canada currently say that it is not the political rift between the two countries that worries them. It is rather the unavailability of jobs and unpredictable future that is a matter of concern for them.
