International student application rise by 162% in tier 2 and tier 3 cities in India

According to a recent survey, the number of international student applications from tier 2 and tier 3 cities have increased by 162%. Most of the students are opting for the STEM program because of their high return on investment. Despite the looming recession , Indian students are putting high-stakes on international education. The number of students going to the UK is still the same despite its political instability. This is reflective of the fact that Indian students are not afraid of anything transient and ready to invest in Education, which will fetch them results in the long run.

 

 

The number of female applicants has grown by 93% whereas the number of male applicants has grown by 32% for management degrees. The US, the UK, Canada and Australia still remain the top study abroad preferences for international students.
