posted on: August 25, 2022

When one is thinking about studying abroad there are a number of conventional countries that come to mind like the USA, the UK, Australia, and Canada. These countries have capitalized on their education market so well that it is a major part of their economy. But there are many other countries that are also popular destinations for studying abroad among students but not all of us know about them, for instance, China. In 2018, around four lakh international students were studying in China. Students from South Korea, Thailand, Pakistan, and India make up the majority of the international students studying in China. Now that China will slowly be resuming the off-line mode of education and hence the visa barriers will soon be laid down students can think about applying to Chinese universities. China has been offering world-class education for a very long period of time. Peking University, the University of Science and Technology of China, and Tsinghua University are very famous Chinese universities. The tuition fee in China is also very affordable, ranging from USD $2000-$8000 annually. A lot of scholarships are also given to international students. Due to a lot of MNCs and manufacturing houses in China, the demand for working professionals is always high and hence on a professional level, there are a lot of work opportunities. Culturally China is a very rich country where you will get to experience so many wonderful and intriguing things.
