There is a possibility that a student might not like their University or program after they land in Canada and start their study abroad journey. In this scenario, many students have a question if it is possible to change your university or course after landing in Canada and starting your study.
In this case, students have to first inform the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) regarding the changes that you would like to make. It is important to understand that you will not need a new study permit. You can stay in Canada and change your course or university under the study permit you have already received. As a student, you have 150 days to change your course or university after you stop studying at your previously selected university or course. Failing to do so will be considered a non-compliance with your study permit
