Jamia Millia Islamia, which is one of the most reputed universities of India has established three new departments in the field of law, dental science and medicine. Now the institute has more than 48 departments that offer multiple courses in various disciplines. The university has also launched some self financed new courses in the field of STEM. This includes BTech in electronics and computer science, BTech in Data Sciences, and MTech in Data Sciences. The annual tuition fee for the BTech programme is 1,50,000 and for the MTech programme the tuition fee is 54,000 annually.
