QS Rankings have announced India's happiest academic institutions for this year. 33 institutions have been selected for the lost after a tedious work of separation and sorting. These institutions are called "Institutions of Happiness (IOH)." Hon’ble Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smt Smriti Zubin Irani, was also present during the event and said that it is important that educators gain insights into the level of happiness of students, their well-being, quality of life, and engagements in sustainability and social change projects, which will enable institutions to advance forward for outcomes. The top universities are Chandigarh University, Chitkara University, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, GITAM University, Hindustan University, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, JSS Academy, Manav Rachna Group of Institutions, Shiksha 'O' Anusandhan University, Shoolini University, Northcap University, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, VELS university etc.
