Canada's express entry system which allows immigrants to directly get citizenship will see major changes in 2023. The express entry initiative started by the government of Canada to fulfill the demand of skilled workers in the country. But now the government has decided to make certain amendments in the way it will work from 2023. Canada's immigration minister has said that the current policies related to express entry do not satiate the demands of the country by bringing the required skill workers to full fill the vacant positions.
From the next year they are planning to bring targeted express entry where candidates will be selected upon the basis of their education and experience. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their CR scores. CR score defines the language proficiency and Canadian work experience of a person. This way Canada will be able to differentiate between applicants who will be actually useful for the country and those who will not be useful for the country.
