The rejection rate for Indian students from European countries stood at 18% last year. More than 1,21,000 students were rejected from various European countries in 2022. Turkey, Morocco and Russia are the top countries to be rejected from various European countries. On average, every student spends at least €80 on the Visa application process. The majority of these applications were directed towards Germany. In some parts of the world, the cost of the visa application process is as high as €1000. Overall India contributed around 87 crores to various European countries in just Visa application fees.
