NCERT which is responsible for the publication of books for classes 1st to 12th in India has made significant changes in the syllabus for class 6th. students will now have the option to choose for vocational subjects from class 6th onwards and also devote time towards other disciplines like art and physical education. New training for teachers, assessment methods and bridge month programmes will be introduced. Along with class 6th, the syllabus for class 3rd will also be modified. This has been done to make the transition from the previous class to the next class easier. As class 6th is the first step towards middle school, it is important for students to carefully learn how to tackle new subjects on their own. The same thing goes for class 3rd. different courses and guidelines will be released for both these classes.
