Nepal has become a huge contributor of international students to the global education market. Last year more than 1,25,000 students went abroad from Nepal itself for higher education. Considering the interest of students in moving abroad, the Nepali government has taken a new decision regarding study abroad and visas. The Nepalese government will no longer allow students to go to foreign countries for vocational and language courses. A similar role was applicable in Nepal till 2019 after which it was discontinued. Now the government is going to introduce the law again under which new students will be given a visa if they want to pursue a language or a vocational course abroad. This NOC method is a control mechanism by the government to stop the outflow of students from the country.
