Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has introduced a new scheme for education and training. The new curriculum is expected to have positive impacts in terms of discipline, understanding and teaching methods. The new method focuses more on conceptual understanding, use of technology and PARAK (Performance Assessment Review and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Understanding). This will induce high order thinking skills of application, analysis and interpretation.
