Packing tips that every international student must know

Getting admission into an international university is a hard thing. Once you are done with getting an admission letter, you have to prepare for the visa and after the visa is sanctioned you have to pack your stuff. Packing your stuff can be a stressful thing as you are given only a certain weight limit of luggage that you can carry abroad. Selecting what to take and what not to take is kind of confusing because you don't know what things won't be available in the country where you are going to live and study in. Here are some packing tips that would be really helpful for you to pack if you are going to study abroad-

  • Make a list of all the essentials

Make a list of all the things that you think you cannot live without. This includes all your basic stuff like your daily wear clothes which includes T-shirts and bottom wear. This will also include two good pairs of shoes and a pair of sleepers, things like your shampoo undergarments, toothbrush et cetera. Carrying all your documents like your passport visa, two passport-size photographs, and your university acceptance letter is also a must.

  • Flight essentials

In-flight you will need a lot of stuff since the journey is going to be long. In your backpack, you must keep things like some light snacks, your headphones, your phone charger or a power bank, a neck pillow, An extra pair of clothes and undergarments, sanitizers, and some travel-size toiletries.

  • University essentials

There are a lot of things that you would have to bring with you in order to settle down in the university dorms. Things like some extra pairs of bedsheets, a couple of pillows, curtains, and some floor mats are needed by the students for their university dorms.

  • Personal essentials

This includes stuff that you would willingly carry with you to create a feeling of home in your dorm. You can carry photos and souvenirs from back home which remind you of your family that could be kept in your dorm.
