As the schools remain closed for as long as two years in some parts of the world during the pandemic, it escalated the problem of hunger, poverty, illiteracy to different levels. In lower income countries according to the World Bank, 53% of children below the age of 10 could not read and write. The decision of closing schools at that time is Highly regretted by everyone now. Now the pandemic has pushed the education officials to implement a lot of due educational reforms that have been otherwise pending for a long time.
