posted on: May 31, 2022

Now that the boundaries of countries have opened up, the charm for studying abroad has retained its previous glory. It is predicted that by 2026, there will be a 46% rise in the number of students going to the UK to study abroad, making the number of undergraduate applicants 208500. UCAS has been trying to understand the psychology behind migrating so far for the purpose of education. They found that for 10% of the students, a decision is made very early which can be as early as before they are 10. They have different factors to consider before deciding their college. This includes the quality (83%) and reputation (75%) of the university or college relative to the quality (70%) and reputation (58%) of the subject area. These students are also high tarif providers for the country. 75% choose to study abroad for the sake of experience and travel. So now UCAS is promoting a personalized approach to promoting UK HE by prioritising the needs of the students country-wise, keeping in mind their values and a lot of other things.
