Punjab, which is the northern state in India has always been one of the biggest contributors to the total study abroad population of Indian students. The number of students going to foreign countries for higher education from Punjab have increased significantly through the past years. Most of the study abroad applications are from Punjab from cities like Jalandhar, Amritsar, Barnala and Ferozpur.
There also has been a multi fold increase in the loan applications in Punjab for higher education. As the number of students going to foreign countries for higher education has been on the rise, loan applications and demand for education has also been increasing significantly in Punjab.
