The last date to apply for CBSE merit scholarship for single girl children is 18 October 2023. This scholarship is specifically meant for single girl children who are exceptionally well in studies. Students selected under the scholarship will receive monthly aid from the government for the purpose of their higher education. This scholarship is only meant for students who are a single child of their parents and a girl. The eligibility criteria for scholarship is to be enrolled in class 11th or class 12th at the time of application. The student must have scored at least 60% marks in their class 10th examination. Also the fees of the institution must not be more than Rs.1500 per month. Even NRI students are also eligible for the scholarship.
