As an aspiring international student, you would have seen so many students around you going abroad for higher education in the past year. Suddenly students from India have this unsettling desire of immigrating to foreign countries in large numbers. Before the pandemic, Indian students did go to various study abroad destinations, but the number has increased by shocking rates in 2022.
As per the latest data, over 1.2 million students from India went to study abroad. Out of all these international students, the most number of students went to Canada. Canada became the number one study abroad destination for Indian students in 2022. This was followed by Australia. More than 100,000 students from India went to Australia in 2022
