There has been a rise in the number of Indian students applying for UK and US student visas. On the other hand, there has been a decline in the study visa applications for Canada. Although Canada has been processing visa applications on time, students are worried about the possible future problems related to studying in Canada. The two countries have yet not resolved their conflicts. The UK Home Office has also said that there has been a surge in the number of sponsored study Visa applications by Indian students. By the end of June, 2023, there were more than 1,42,000 student visa applications processed.
The United States of America on the other hand has processed more than one million visa applications and more than 95,000 of the successful applications were from India.
