Schools will not be able to correct the marks of internal assessment for board exams once they're uploaded on the official website of CBSE

posted on: January 08, 2024

The Delhi high court has recently taken a decision regarding the internal assessment marks of students who will be giving their board exams. As per this decision schools will not be able to modify the marks for internal assessment once they have been uploaded on the official website of CBSE. Schools only have a single chance for uploading the marks correctly. Any mistake or rectification is not allowed.

This is also a step to stop any kind of malpractices as CBSE won't be able to verify if the marks rectification is valid or not for each and every student. The bench of judges said that it is debatable. If the new marks submitted by the school for a particular student are legit or not.
