Study abroad changes in 2023 that will revolutionise the education market

posted on: March 11, 2023

Every year, there is a change in the pattern of demand in the study abroad market. A new player enters and becomes more popular. More universities are introduced and courses are becoming more versatile. Here are some of the study abroad changes in 2023 that international students must look out for

  1. Second and third tier schools will become more popular among international students. Students have realised that courses and programmes are equally and sometimes even more important than the university. Highly ranked universities are becoming more and more selective which is why international students are no longer interested in applying to these universities.
  2. Visa process will become easier for international students and students will not have to wait for such a long period of time to get their visas. As international education is becoming more popular, countries have decided to take things seriously and make it easier for international students.
  3. The rise of visa approval rate is also increasing rapidly. Earlier countries used to decline a lot of visas but now even countries like the USA and the UK are accepting more and more students than before.
  4. India is becoming the largest contributor of international students in the global education market. Earlier China used to be the number one contributor but  things will change in 2023.
  5. STEM programs are becoming more and more popular among international students because of their high placement ratios after completing courses.
