The new education policy in Bengal makes it compulsory for students to learn at least three languages during 5th to 8th standard

posted on: August 09, 2023

The government of West Bengal has implemented the new education policy from this academic year only. The new education policy will bring a lot of changes to the education system of the state. One of the most significant features is the compulsion of learning at least three languages during middle school. The third language out of the three languages can be a regional or an international language.

But if possible, then students must give preference to Sanskrit Bengali or Hindi. This will help students after their high school if they're interested in studying abroad and will remove any kind of language barriers.
