In the past few years, Indian students have contributed massively to the economy of various countries by immigrating for higher education. Indian students make for the second largest group of international students in the UK after China. The UK government is planning to collaborate with various institutes in India to introduce student exchange programmes. This will allow students to study a semester or two in the UK and explore the opportunities in the country. It's a great initiative to attract more student population to the UK for higher education and after study work opportunities.
