The UK government looking forward to strengthen its ties with Indian universities

posted on: September 18, 2023

The UK has decided to put its focus on Indian students after France recently announced its goal to attract 30,000 Indian students by 2030 for higher education. The top study abroad destinations of the world have recognised the influence of Indian students in the global education scenario. In the past few years, Indian students have contributed massively to the economy of various countries by immigrating for higher education. Indian students make for the second largest group of international students in the UK after China. The UK government is planning to collaborate with various institutes in India to introduce student exchange programmes. This will allow students to study a semester or two in the UK and explore the opportunities in the country. It's a great initiative to attract more student population to the UK for higher education and after study work opportunities.
