The UK government to increase work hours limit for international students

posted on: February 21, 2023

According to the latest news, the government of the UK is planning to increase the number of hours. International students will be allowed to work part-time. Some sources are even suggesting that any kind of limits will be removed entirely and students can work as long as they want. With a tier 4 student visa, a student could work for 20 hours a week with their classes. During the holiday season, they were allowed to work for full days. But with the latest implementation, students will be allowed to work more than 30 hours if the government decides to increase the hours.

The plan is being discussed by the government of the UK and will soon take a substantial turn. The UK is aiming to create an environment which is economically profitable for the country as well as for the migrants. Currently, the country is facing a problem of labour shortage. The unemployment rate is also growing. To solve these problems, the country wants to encourage domestic and international students to work part-time as much as they can.
