In the latest decision by the UK government, people migrating to the UK on student visas will no longer be allowed to bring family members on dependent visas along with them. This has been done to put a restriction on the high number of immigrants that the UK has to welcome every year. The government plans on using these visas for people who will actually add up to the economy of the country. Only the students who have taken admission into a designated research program like a PhD degree will be allowed to bring a family member. This has become a matter of problem among many international students as most of the international students bring families along with them. The UK has been the top priority for international students for a very long time. This move of the government might affect the rate of immigration in the coming time.
