Recently the students and the professionals working in the UK have expressed their concern about the lack of clarity regarding the new visa regulations that will be imposed on immigrants. The cohort of Indian immigrants are feeling that these crackdown policies are quite unfair. The group of Indian immigrants is going to write to the Home Secretary very soon to seek clarification. The most recent regulation that has been introduced by the UK government is the minimum income requirement that a person needs to bring a family member to the country. This has been raised to £38,700, which is actually a lot for someone who is recently shifting to the UK and starting to earn. A large number of medical professionals including nurses migrate from India to the UK for a better life. They also bring their families along themselves and if this regulation is imposed then the number of nurses coming from India to the UK will be nil.
