Indians now successfully represent 10% of the total visas processed by the US’s immigration department. 20% of the total visas granted to Indians account for student visas. More than 1 million visas have been granted to Indians so far. The highest number of student visas have been granted in the months of June, July and August.
Post pandemic, the United States of America has become a lot more lenient for Indian students than before. Recently the President of the US, Joe Biden visited India for the G20 summit. Both the countries expressed their desire to continue the transfer of international students and to promote smooth immigration.
