The H1B visa is a special kind of visa that allows various companies in the US to employ business professionals and let them stay in the country. The United States of America has recently hit the annual limit to grant H1B visas to immigrants. This means that all the available seats for the 2024 fiscal year H1B visa are now over. So anyone who has yet not received any response from the USCIS will soon receive an official update regarding the non-selection.
Numerous petitions have been received by the USCIS to increase the annual cap and let people come to the US, especially in exceptional and emergency cases. Right now both the regular cap and the advanced degree or master’s cap have been completed by the US government. Any visa that remains unused, will be available in the next fiscal year for immigrants to apply for.
