The University of Southampton is currently ranked 81st worldwide. Currently more than 10,000 international students from 130 countries are studying in the university. For the presidential or dean competitive scholarship, students are generally advised to start applying before the end of December. To be eligible for the scholarship it is compulsory to score at least 70% marks in your masters. Other than this, minimum 7 IELTS bands are required by the student. Also students must write a statement of purpose while submitting their application. The University of Southampton has a very holistic way of selecting students for scholarships.
