As the September intake is around the corner, there is a growing demand for the US visas. Considering the interest of Indian students in studying in the US, the US consulate in India has decided to increase their Interview capacity to make sure that every student is able to timely receive the student visa. More focus will be on the first time student visa applications to make sure that there is no wastage of time and money. The first slot is going to start towards the end of May and is going to continue till August. Last year over 253,000 student visas were denied by the US consulates globally. Officials have said that one of the top reasons for visa denial is the inability to properly describe and explain the intention of returning to India after completing their education.
