The United States of America has hiked the student visa fee from US$160 to US$185. This will be effective from 30th May, 2023. This will be applicable for students from all parts of the world. The fee has been increased by US$25. This was officially announced by the US government on their official website.
So, as per the current valuation, Indian students will have to pay somewhere around Rs.14,000 as their visa fee if they are interested in getting into an international University in the USA. The number of international students going to the US from India has increased by around two times since the last year.
