The United States of America has recently introduced new guidelines regarding visa, interview waivers for nonimmigrant visas, including student visas. As per the new changes, an individual applying for a student visa interview waiver can qualify only if they had previously applied for a non-immigrant visa that was issued to them. Also, it is compulsory that the candidate applies for only 48 months within the expiration of the previous Visa.
It is also compulsory that the candidate must not have been rejected for any kind of US Visa before. The whole concept of visa interview waiver was introduced by the department in 2021. Since then a lot of new changes have been brought in the policy. The recent change is important for anyone who is planning to study in the US and expecting a visa interview waiver.
