Despite the growing concerns of affordability and safety for students, Indian students are still choosing to pursue their higher education from the US. As per the latest survey among Indian students, 54% of the students go to the US as the top study abroad destination. Canada came in second position with 43% students choosing in the country for higher education. In third position was Australia with 27% votes. In the same survey, 45% of students highlighted that they give importance to the quality of education provided by the institute. 42% of the students said that to them the ranking of the university matters. 71% of the total students surveyed in India, said that their parents or guardians were their source of inspiration for studying abroad.
