New York is generally considered a very expensive city. In terms of accommodation it is one of the most expensive cities in the world as the rents here are massively high. But still New York City offers a lot of opportunities and places to visit for international students who are low on a budget. These are the places but you can visit as an international student in New York-

  1. Riding the Staten Island Ferry

You can ride this ferry to see the Statue of Liberty closely. To be able to ride this ferry you do not have to pay even a single penny. 

  1. Taking a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge

This bridge is very famous as it has been the shooting location of a lot of famous movies. You can have a stroll on this bridge and get your pictures clean.

  1. Take a tour of the New York Public Library

During your time in New York, you cannot miss out on visiting this public library. It is the third largest library in the world and its interiors are jaw dropping.

  1. Watch a movie in Bryant Park

You can enjoy a free screening of the movie at this park. Make sure that you reach a little early to get a seat as the movie screening is for free and people start collecting earlier than the scheduled time. You can grab snacks and get a blanket to watch the movie comfortably.
