Winter season in North America and Europe can be lethal. This is why it is very important to stay warm and take care of your health as you don't have anybody to look after. Here's how you can take care of yourself as an international student during winters-

  • A lot of universities offer energy grants to their students during the winter. This is to reduce the financial burden of students and also give them the facility to stay warm.
  • During the winter season a lot of volunteer and charity organizations also offer free food and drinks. As an international student, always actively lookout for such opportunities because not only will they help you in saving money but also save a lot of your time.
  • Make sure that you are actively working out during the winter season. It is very important to sweat as it also helps you in feeling warm. During the winter season a lot of gyms and fitness organizations start offering memberships at a lower rate.
  • Don't stay indoors that much. Try to go out and enjoy the weather to get used to it. This way you will start feeling less cold and your body will get accustomed to the cold.
