IELTS is the most popular language exam among Indian students. Most Indian students appear for the IELTS exam and the popularity of TOEFL is a little less in India. But recently countries like Singapore, Australia, France and Sweden have seen an increase in the number of TOEFL scores being submitted. The top two destinations for Indian students to submit TOEFL schools have been Canada and the US since 2017. The top five countries for the number of the TOEFL takers among Indian students have remained the same in the past five years. As per reports, Indians taking TOEFL for higher secondary education has increased over the past few years, whereas for immigration purposes there has been a constant decline.
