The University Grants Commission has introduced a new life skills curriculum that is in alignment with the New Education Policy 2020. The Jeevan Kaushal programme will focus on the holistic development of students while in college. There is a proper curriculum designed by the UGC consisting of professional skills, communication skills, leadership and management skills, and universal human values. Other than this UGC has also launched this curriculum to enhance digital literacy, cyber security, digital ethics, and other subject related knowledge to the developing technology related to the field of education. These programmes have been designed keeping the various contexts of higher education institutes in the country.
