The University Grants Commission has released a latest list of fake universities in India. These universities are not authorised from UGC and hence the degree from these universities is not recognised in India. Here is the list of these universities for your reference.
From Delhi, there are eight universities, including All India Institute of Public and Physical Health Sciences; Commercial University Ltd, Daryaganj; United Nations University; Vocational University; ADR-Centric Juridical University; Indian Institution of Science and Engineering; Viswakarma Open University for Self-Employment; and Adhyatmik Vishwavidyalaya (Spiritual University).
From Uttar Pradesh, there are four universities, including Gandhi Hindi Vidyapith; National University of Electro Complex Homeopathy; Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose University (Open university); and Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad.
Other than this, there are several universities from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and West Bengal.
