The University Grants Commission is planning to revise the syllabus for the National Eligibility Test. This is an important exam for people who are planning to teach in higher education Institutions of India. An expert UGC-NET committee will be formed to look after the syllabus planning of the exam. Interested candidates will be given sufficient time to come in touch with the new syllabus of the exam before giving the exam. The syllabus of UGC NET was revised for the last time in 2017.
Therefore, the commission has decided that it is time to make a significant revision in the battle of the exam. Since 2017, new initiatives in the field of education in India like any have been introduced. To make the syllabus of UGC congruous with other higher level exams, this decision has been made.
