In a latest advisory UGC has warned students regarding taking admissions in Pakistan for pursuing higher studies as it may cause them employment issues. A student who has obtained his/her education from Pakistan will not be eligible to work in India and neither study more. There is an exception for those people who have migrated from Pakistan and had completed their previous education there. They can study or work in India after obtaining a clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Earlier UGC also warned students about being careful regarding their decision to study in China as the country has not opened its borders for international students since the end of 2020.
