The UK has become one of the top study abroad destinations for international students in the past few years. This allows international students who have completed their bachelors degree and masters degree from the UK to stay back in the country for two years. Students who have completed their PhD can stay in the UK for three years. As per reports getting a graduate visa is one of the top driving factors in attracting so many students from different countries of the world. Indian students make up the largest student population in the UK with 42% of the total study visas from the UK being granted to Indian students. There has been a 54% increase in the number of students going to the UK from India in 2022 to 2023. Out of all the programs, the one-year Masters program is the most popular among students.
