Indian students who returned from Ukraine without completing their MBBS degrees have been given the chance to clear their final exams at once without getting admission in any specific medical universities. Around 18,000 students came back to India without completing their medical degrees. Now the Centre has informed the Supreme Court that all those students who have to give their final exams can now give the exam directly including both the practical and theory exam without getting admission in any particular University.
After completing their exams, students will have to complete their compulsory period of rotatory internships for their degrees to be valid. During their first year, the interns will not be paid anything. The interns will start getting paid during the second year of their internship. After completing their internship period, these students will become designated doctor and will be able to practise medicine professionally.
