posted on: January 23, 2024

The National Testing Agency conducts the JEE Mains every year. It is one of the most important competitive exams in the country and there are proper rules and regulations that one has to follow while giving the exam. Let's have a look at some unfair practices in JEE Mains that may lead to disqualification for a particular candidate.

  1. No prohibited items like mobile phones, electronic gadgets, small paper chits, and other similar things will lead to immediate disqualification.
  2. Trying to help the other candidate in attempting questions will also not be tolerated.
  3. Contacting any student using any unfair methods is also going to lead to disqualification. As a student, you can only talk to the examiner.
  4. If a candidate is found with manipulated documents like Aadhaar card, admit card or any other identity proof, then they will be instantly disqualified.
  5. Fixing wrong photographs and forging signatures will also lead to disqualification. A student has to behave in a civic manner while giving the exam and be extremely respectful towards the examiner. If a candidate is found indulging in malpractices, then they will be disqualified immediately.
