posted on: July 30, 2022

We are all very well aware of the economic crisis that Nigeria has been suffering from. Very recently the Nigerian currency was at an all-time low against the US Dollar. This means that the economy of the country is in a big fix. Due to this many students are looking for tuition-free universities that can sponsor their education as paying fees is almost impossible. Here are the universities where Nigerian students can study for almost or totals free-

  • RWTH Aachen University

This is a German University where tuition fee is free for students. You just have to manage your accommodation and pay a contribution fee of 50 euros which can be easily self-earned through part-time jobs.

  • University of Oslo

This university is in Norway and is one of the top-ranked universities. Living in Norway can be expensive but they allow students to work part-time 20 hours weekly so they can earn money to support themselves.

  • University of Iceland

This university doesn't charge a penny to international students in the form of tuition fees. You just have to pay around 560 USD as registration fees annually.

  • University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

Also considered the 'public ivy league’, this university has a lot of programs to offer. It allows students to enter into Ph.D. programs with a bachelor's degree and Nigerian students don't even have to give TOEFL.
