The US immigration department has recently released the data as per which over 90,000 student visas have been issued to Indian students in the past three months. This is data for the months of June, July and August. It also signifies that 1 out of 4 students who went to the US for higher education in 2023 has been Indian. Earlier getting the US student visa was extremely difficult for Indian students as the US immigration department has been extremely stringent when it comes to granting visas. But lately the US has become welcoming towards Indian students. India has also officially surpassed China by becoming the largest contributor of international students going to the US every year.
